Telemetry monitoring (conventional cardiac monitoring system [CCMS]) is a universal method for postoperative arrhythmia detection; however, the clinical challenge of alarm fatigue, primarily associated with noise or cable disconnections, persists. The introduction of wireless continuous cardiac monitoring (WCCM) represents a potential solution to enhance recording fidelity. Introduction: Although rare, sternal pseudarthrosis is encountered after cardiac surgery and impacts the quality of life by triggering motion-dependent chest pain. We thought to describe its treatment by percutaneous cementoplasty and report the clinical follow-up of patients treated in our institution.
Methods: This case series is a retrospective study based on five patients who benefited from a sternal cementoplasty as a treatment for symptomatic pseudarthrosis after cardiac surgery.

Adequate brain protection is essential and commonly performed by either antegrade selective perfusion of the brachiocephalic arteries or an interval of profound hypothermic circulatory arrest. We present our experience for open aortic arch repair with continuous antegrade brain perfusion by means of direct cannulation of the right axillary artery, under moderate hypothermia in patients with acute type A aortic dissection.
