The present study was designed to evaluate molecular mechanism by which sesamin (SES) induces neuroprotection in mouse model of ischemic stroke. Amyloid β peptides (Aβ) have been implicated in the pathogenesis of age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) and glaucoma.
