Role-Specific Curricular Needs for Identification and Management of Immune-Related Adverse Events.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) activate the immune system against cancer and have become standard of care for many cancers. With increased ICI use, their toxicities known as immune-related adverse events (irAEs) are becoming more common, but it is unclear how prepared relevant clinicians feel to diagnose and treat irAEs. The objective of this study was to assess irAE knowledge, confidence, and experience among generalists and oncology clinicians to guide future curricular interventions related to irAEs.
