Background: Learning to implement developmental surveillance and anticipatory guidance are critical components of clinical nursing education.
Method: The purpose of the Well-Child Video Project was to provide nursing students opportunities to develop confidence in providing early childhood health supervision. The faculty team curated more than 100 video clips of children age 0 to 6 years demonstrating key developmental milestones.

Background And Purpose: Since development of the nurse practitioner (NP) role, NPs have been advocating for policy allowing them to practice to the full extent of their training. The aim of this research was to determine whether passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) had an impact on expansion of NPs' scope of practice.
Methods: This was a retrospective descriptive study of NPs' scope of practice legislation from 1994 to 2016 using regulatory theory.
The Affordable Care Act was signed into law on March 23, 2010. Since the passage of the law, there have been more than 20 court challenges and plans for repeal are underway. This article will review the provisions of the law that have been implemented to date.

The Pilot Project was created through state legislation that recognized APNs associated with three universities in Ohio for the purpose of granting the APNs title protection, prescriptive authority, and recognition leading to reimbursement.
Data Sources: The Interactional Model of Client Health Behavior (Cox, 1982), which proposes that client characteristics and interactions with health professionals determine health outcomes, served as the framework for this descriptive study.
