Here, we deconstruct delay discounting into choice and rate processes by testing different computational models and investigate their associations with white matter tracts.

The aim of this paper is to provide healthcare professionals involved in cancer pain management with a review of the relevant literature on the relationship between background cancer pain and BTcP which, by definition, occurs despite adequately controlled background cancer pain.

In this manuscript, we demonstrate the potential of replacing the standard bottom anti-reflective coating (BARC) with a polymethylglutarimide (PMGI) layer for wafer-scale nanofabrication by means of deep-UV displacement talbot lithography (DTL). PMGI is functioning as a developable non-UV sensitive bottom anti-reflective coating (DBARC). After introducing the fabrication process using a standard BARC-based coating and the novel PMGI-based one, the DTL nanopatterning capabilities for both coatings are compared by means of the fabrication of etched nanoholes in a dielectric layer and metal nanodots made by lift-off.

Recruitment of Intratumoral CD103 Dendritic Cells by a CXCR4 Antagonist-Armed Virotherapy Enhances Antitumor Immunity.

Intratumoral dendritic cells play an important role in stimulating cytotoxic T cells and driving antitumor immunity. Using a metastatic ovarian tumor model in syngeneic mice, we explored whether therapy with a CXCR4 antagonist-armed oncolytic vaccinia virus activates endogenous CD103 dendritic cell responses associated with the induction of adaptive immunity against viral and tumor antigens. The overall goal of this study was to determine whether expansion of CD103 dendritic cells by the virally delivered CXCR4 antagonist augments overall survival and boosting with a tumor antigen peptide-based vaccine.

Genetic evaluation of reproductive potential in the Zatorska goose under a conservation program.

The aim of this study was to estimate the genetic parameters and inbreeding effect on the fertility, embryo mortality and hatchability traits in the Zatorska goose covered by the animal genetic resources conservation program. The material for this study contains information about results of hatching of 18 863 eggs from 721 dams and 168 sires, laid between 1998-2015. Genetic parameters were estimated based on the threshold animal model by the use of Restricted Maximum Likelihood and Gibbs sampling.
