Flowers and thorns in pregnancy: experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Objective: To understand the repercussions of COVID-19 on the path of pregnancy.

Method: Qualitative, participatory action research (PAR) study, based on Paulo Freire's Research Itinerary. A virtual culture circle was held in October 2020, with the participation of 12 pregnant women, living in the South and Southeast regions of Brazil.

[Communication and Mental Health: Characteristics related to empathy in primary care physicians in Chapecó, Santa Catarina, Brazil].

In Brazil, the provision of mental health care in primary care centers has gained strategic importance, as it ensures that users will be able to attend these services within their communities, and empathy is a key aspect in the development of the doctor-patient relationship. The aim of this study was to identify characteristics related to empathy in physicians who work in primary care centers and who provide care to individuals with mental disorders. Qualitative research was carried out in 2016, based on semi-structured interviews with eight general and family physicians.

[The Education Program of Work for Health of the University of São Paulo (capital campus): the viewpoint of the tutors].

In order to bring about positive changes in the education process of health professionals, the Ministries of Health and Education established the Education Program of Work for Health in 2008. The study aimed to achieve the consensus of a group of experts about the Program established at the University of São Paulo, Capital Campus, Brazil. The subjects of the study were the tutors who joined the program in 2010-2012.
