Purpose: Cross-sectional imaging facilitates the assessment of transmural healing in patients with Crohn's disease. This systematic review addresses the utility of MRI and intestinal ultrasound (IUS) in the assessment of disease activity in response to drug therapy compared with endoscopy in patients with luminal Crohn's disease.
Methods: Database searches were undertaken using predefined terms.

Iatrogenic Stapfer type-1 duodenal perforations during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) typically necessitate surgical management and carry significant morbidity and mortality risk. Here, we present a case of a large duodenal perforation during ERCP managed endoscopically with an over-the-scope clip (OTSC) and describe the subsequent post-procedural management. An 80-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with acute cholangitis.

Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of treatment outcomes among treatment-naïve and treatment-experienced patients receiving a minimum 3 mo tenofovir therapy through St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, Australia. We included patients receiving tenofovir [tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF)] monotherapy, as well as patients treated with TDF in combination with a second antiviral agent.
