Aim: The aim of the present study was to clinically assess the performance of BioHPP PEEK material when used for inlay restoration and to compare it with widely used zirconia inlays. This clinical study was undertaken to evaluate their performance in terms of retention, colour matching, marginal discoloration, marginal adaptation, secondary caries, surface texture, wear-anatomic form, postoperative sensitivity and fracture resistance using the modified Ryge's criteria.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA): A prosthodontic perspective.

The subject of sleep medicine, for dental profession in general and prosthodontists in particular, continue to offer great challenges and opportunities in terms of diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment based on qualitative evidence. Although the role played by the prosthodontists is still in its infancy, there is much to learn and understand in the rapidly evolving field of sleep medicine as the recognition of co-managing patients with sleep disorders by the prosthodontists is fast becoming a reality. This article discusses at length the prosthodontic perspectives of the research in the field of sleep medicine, particularly on obstructive sleep apnea.

Changing Smiles Through Multidisciplinary Approach with Predictable Aesthetics: A Case Report.

This clinical report describes a multidisciplinary approach for the rehabilitation of a young patient with mobile and missing front teeth. The objectives of the treatment were to eliminate tooth mobility and replacing missing tooth, while enhancing aesthetics and restoring masticatory function. Treatment included placement of endodontic stabilizer and rehabilitating missing tooth with fixed partial denture and gingival porcelain to satisfy the patient's aesthetic and functional expectations.

Comparison of shear bond strength of two porcelain repair systems after different surface treatment.

Introduction: Intraoral chair side porcelain repair system is a quick, painless and highly patient acceptable procedure, without removal of restoration or fabrication of new restoration. There are very limited studies conducted to evaluate the shear bond strength of repair systems after different surface treatment.

Objectives Of Research: The objective of research was to evaluate the shear bond strength of two intraoral porcelain repair systems Clearfil repair system (Kuraray) and Ceramic repair system (Ivoclar) to repair metal-ceramic restoration after three different surface treatment.
