Machine tool cutting performance is limited by the onset of regenerative chatter vibrations. Chatter damages the machine tool system and must be avoided. Efficacy of models guiding circumvention of chatter in actual industrial contexts remains restricted due to cutting process nonlinearities and due to uncertainties in dynamics of machine tools.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFOogenesis is a fundamental process that forms the egg and, is crucial for the transmission of genetic information to the next generation. oogenesis has been used extensively as a genetically tractable model to study organogenesis, niche-germline stem cell communication, and more recently reproductive aging including germline stem cell (GSC) aging. Autophagy, a lysosome-mediated degradation process, is implicated in gametogenesis and aging.

The model exhibits two equilibria, namely, the disease-free and a unique endemic equilibrium. The existence and local stability of the disease free and endemic equilibria are explored in terms of the effective reproduction number .
