Pyelectasis is a dilatation of the renal pelvis. It must be differentiated from hydronephrosis which is a dilation of the renal pelvis and of the renal calyces. In this retrospective study, we focused on the treatment and follow up of 31 newborns in whom a pyelectasis had been diagnosed in utero.
