Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic relapsing inflammatory skin disease with a distinctive clinical appearance and distribution. Around 85% of patients have positive immediate skin reaction or specific IgE to different airborne allergens that are in association with respiratory allergy. The prevalence of nail psoriasis varies considerably among different studies, ranging from 10% to 55%. In psoriatic arthritis, its prevalence is as high as 85%.
