Background: Relapse after corticosteroid withdrawal in eosinophilic esophagitis is not well understood.
Objectives: Budesonide oral suspension (BOS) 2.0 mg twice daily (b.
Aims: Phantom limb pain (PLP) is a painful sensation occurring in patients around the site of an amputation. The aim of this systematic review is to evaluate the efficacy of cryoneurolysis in the management of phantom limb pain.
Materials And Methods: A systematic review was performed according to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines.
Background: Little is known about individual, as opposed to area-level, variance in socioeconomic status (SES) and how this impacts screening participation. This study explores potential mechanisms underlying the relationship between SES and cancer screening amongst women eligible for breast, cervical, and bowel cancer screening.
Methods: Australian women aged 50-74 years (N = 874) took part in an online survey examining participants' health and cancer screening behaviours.
Aim: Vaccines have been shown to have the highest efficacy in preventing infectious diseases through their ability to induce immunological memory against pathogens. An adverse reaction to a vaccine is an unexpected medical occurrence following immunization. Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a disease that has undergone much controversy regarding its onset post-vaccination.

Objective: To investigate the benefits of topical 8% capsaicin patches for the decrease of postsurgical neuropathic pain level and area.
Methods: A systematic review with pooled analysis was conducted utilizing the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Five commonly used databases were employed utilizing a search string made from MeSH terms and boolean operators.
Background And Aims: Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is associated with impaired health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and stigma perceptions. Therefore, we examined the real-world impact of EoE on the daily life and ability to function in adolescents (caregiver-reported) and adults with EoE in the United States of America in a noninterventional, cross-sectional, web-based survey.
Methods: HRQoL was assessed using the Short Form Health Survey (domains: vitality and social functioning) and the European Health Interview Survey (domain: sleep).
Purpose: Caregivers provide vital support to people with cancer but often report feeling unsupported themselves. This study investigated rural caregivers' experiences seeking support for their health and wellbeing while caring for someone with cancer.
Methods: Through semi-structured interviews, 20 rural caregivers described their experiences seeking and accessing support for their own health and wellbeing while caring for someone with cancer, including what support was, or would have been, helpful.
Regenerative medicine, specifically bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP), has become a novel adjunct that orthopedic surgeons have started to use with surgical rotator cuff repairs (RCR). Thus, we are conducting this systematic review to determine if either RCRs with BMAC alone or with BMAC and PRP result in superior functional outcomes. We conducted a comprehensive search using five databases including PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, and Cochrane.

We provide 11 recommendations in two printable resources: (a) a checklist for preparing for focus groups and interviews with community members, and (b) a list of practical strategies to use when conducting the focus groups and interviews. These recommendations are based on our experience facilitating 15 focus groups and 20 interviews with 52 community members to codesign the study materials for a population-wide qualitative survey for understanding the needs and experiences of adults affected by cancer in Queensland, Australia.

Many non-participants are "intenders"; that is, they intend to screen but fail to do so, often forgetting or procrastinating. This study aimed to co-design interventions to increase screening participation among intenders in the Australian National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.

The current study aimed to co-design and test a single qualitative survey question and study invitation materials to maximise acceptability of, and participation in, the survey and future research.
Methods: Fifty-two community members, including cancer survivors and caregivers, participated across 15 co-design workshops and 20 pretest interviews.
Background And Aims: Limited real-world nontertiary care evidence on the patient therapeutic journey and disease burden of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) exists. The aim was to collect real-world data on the EoE patient journey across different age groups.
Methods: This retrospective, real-world, cohort study used electronic medical records and claims data provided by a rural integrated US healthcare system.
Ultrasonography is widely used to monitor pregnancy in viviparous species, but it is underutilized as a tool to characterize embryonic development in oviparous species. Currently, a multi-institutional effort is underway to re-wild the endangered zebra shark () to locations where this species was previously extirpated by leveraging the reproductive efforts of aquarium sharks as a source of brood stock. Zebra sharks are oviparous and fecund, but a large percentage of their yolked eggs do not result in hatchlings.

Home Together (HT) is a multi-level multi-component health promotion program, co-led by academic and non-profit partners in Arkansas that sought (1) to improve access to and family acceptance of social services and health care among women experiencing homelessness who have a diagnosed mental health condition and a child younger than six years and (2) to increase service provider capacity to engage with this population. A socioecological perspective was used to detail program components and lessons learned. Home Together enrolled 345 women representing unduplicated families.

Methods: This study explored preferences for data access and sharing in 14 workshops with 42 community members, most of whom were a cancer survivor or carer. Various scenarios for data access and sharing were presented and discussed, with participants' preferences summarized using descriptive statistics.
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the deaths of millions of people and severe global economic impacts. Small molecule therapeutics have played an important role in the fight against SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, but their efficacy has been limited in scope and availability, with many people unable to access their benefits, and better options are needed. EDP-235 is specifically designed to inhibit the SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro, with potent nanomolar activity against all SARS-CoV-2 variants to date, as well as clinically relevant human and zoonotic coronaviruses.

Here we demonstrate that nasal and nasopharyngeal swabs can be used to obtain insights into these challenging problems, and define distinct immune cell populations, including antigen-specific memory B cells and T cells, in two adjacent anatomical sites in the upper airway. Upper airway immune cell populations seemed stable over time in healthy adults undergoing monthly swabs for more than 1 year, and prominent tissue resident memory T (T) cell and B (B) cell populations were defined.

Objective: (i) To examine the sociocultural factors that influence nurses' EWS compliance behaviours, using a theory driven behavioural model and (ii) to propose a conceptual model of sociocultural factors for EWS compliance behaviour.
This review is aimed at unraveling the intricacies of diabetic self-management among geriatric people, drawing on current insights and understanding the complex paths geriatric people navigate. A wide search was conducted in health-oriented databases, including CINAHL, Embase, PsycINFO, MEDLINE, PubMed, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library, while gray literature was excluded. The search combined keywords and subject headings, focusing on the geriatric population, diabetes, self-management, and qualitative research.
