Introduction: Fleeing from war can be terrifying and result in Acute Stress Disorder (ASD), a mental health condition that can occur in the first month after a traumatic event. The study aimed to identify the prevalence of ASD among Ukrainian refugees and identify its risk factors to create a profile of the most vulnerable refugees.
Methods: This cross-sectional study of 637 Ukrainian war-displaced persons and refugees in 2022 used the Acute Stress Disorder Scale.
Objective: The aim: To prove safety of the new elixir and determine the effect on regenerative processes under conditions of the experimental trauma.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: The formula of the new dental elixir "Apiprol" includes biologically active components of bee products (propolis, comb capping wax), plant origin compounds. The elixir was single administered, intragastrally to white nonlinear mice weighing (22±2) g at doses at 50 mg/kg, 500 mg/kg, 5000 mg/kg.
Objectives: The aim of the work was to substantiate the use of a newly created oral care product in the treatment of periodontal disease reconstructed against the background of hyperacidic gastritis under the conditions of tobacco smoke intoxication.
Materials And Methods: The study was conducted in 2 stages. In the first stage, all experimental animals were divided into 4 groups: 1) intact, 2) with simulated periodontitis, 3) with reproduced periodontitis against the background of reproduced hyperacidic gastritis, 4) with reproduced periodontitis against the background of hyperacid gastritis under the conditions of tobacco smoking.
The comparative analysis data were presented, concerning the results of complex treatment of 28 patients, suffering ischemic-gangrenous form of the diabetic foot syndrome, developing on background of chronic ischemia of the lower extremities stage IV. In 14 patients (main group) a routine complex of the treatment measures was added by application of an active pressure (negative pressure wound therapy - NPWT) and a capicor preparation; 14 patients (the comparison group) were treated in accordance to routine scheme. In accordance to the comparative analysis data, in patients of the main group the wound surface sarea have kept reducing in twice more rapid, than in a comparison group, the wounds healing was achieved in 94% patients, duration of the patients’ stationary stay have reduced by (5.

Results of clinical application of method of non-contact periorbital electrostimulation in 6 groups of neurologic patients (total number-246) with optic nerve pathology of different origin (post-traumatic, hypertensive, inflammatory) are summarized. Analysis of interdependence between positive results and severity of visual disorders, type of the disease, responsible for partial atrophy of optic nerve, was performed. This method of restoration of vision in investigated patients proved to be effective both in hospitals and outpatient departments.

It is shown that the dynamics of superslow fluctuations of potential (SSFP) in healthy individuals are similar to those in patients before the operation. In a favourable postoperative period SSFP lability is highest during the first week, particularly in the head quadrant adjacent to the zone of the operative wound. Subsequently the SSFP values came closer to the preoperative, i.

CNS injuries in brain contusions of a moderate and severe gravity leave lasting EEG traces that can be revealed on examining the patients in the state of sleep and drowsiness, and manifest in the form of pathological oscillations of the slow electrical processes in the second and decasecond intervals. These oscillations have an amplitude of 0.2 to 1.

In 50 patients with craniocerebral injuries and 50 healthy subjects the duration of motor response of the right and the left hand to light stimulation was examined. It was found that the duration of this response depended on the injury gravity, the localization of the contusion focus in the brain, and the time that had passed since the injury infliction. The method described contributes to specifying the diagnosis of brain concussions and contusions; to determining the affected side of the brain, and to finding out whether the brain activity gets better or worse.
