In brain tumors (BTs), longitudinal relaxation time (T1), effective transverse relaxation time (T2*), transverse relaxation time (T2), water content (HO), and quantitative susceptibility (χ) give valuable insights into the microenvironment. To generate large multicenter datasets, protocols need to be short and implementable on any scanner.

Although frailty has been defined before in research, older peoples' perceptions of frailty do not always coincide with those used in research or medical settings.

Materials And Methods: 30 female patients (mean age, 63.12 ± 14.
Background: Work-related forced postures, such as prolonged standing work, can lead to complaints in the lower back. Current research suggests that there is increased evidence of associations between patients with low back pain (LBP) and reduced lordosis in the lumbar spine and generally less spinal tilt in the sagittal plane. The aim of this study is to extend the influence of LBP to other parameters of upper body posture in standing, taking into account the rotational and frontal planes.

Aims: We investigated the impact of the pandemic on the clinical care of patients with a single episode (SE-MDD) or major depressive disorder (MDD) in Germany.
Methods: Nationwide inpatient data were extracted from the German Institute for Hospital Remuneration System for 2020 and 2021 (depression data) and the Robert Koch Institute (COVID-19 incidence).
Purpose: In the FACE Delirium trial, we investigated the feasibility of a structured FAmily-CEntered delirium prevention and treatment during the corona pandemic.
Methods: Patients hospitalized in a German geriatric medicine department were included in this single-center, prospective, single-arm feasibility study. Their relatives received a short training on delirium and volunteers or paid staff members facilitated video calls.
Background In patients with distal radius fractures (DRFs), low bone mineral density (BMD) is associated with bone substitute use during surgery and bone nonunion, but BMD information is not regularly available. Purpose To evaluate the feasibility of dual-energy CT (DECT)-based BMD assessment from routine examinations in the distal radius and the relationship between the obtained BMD values, the occurrence of DRFs, bone nonunion, and use of surgical bone substitute. Materials and Methods Scans in patients who underwent routine dual-source DECT in the distal radius between January 2016 and December 2021 were retrospectively acquired.

Thus far, the paper and pen method (RULA-PP) has been predominantly used for this purpose. In the present study, this method was compared with an RULA evaluation based on kinematic data using inertial measurement units (RULA-IMU).

Background: Frailty is a term widely and increasingly used in describing a condition of individuals experiencing multiple problems in one or more domains of human functioning, physical, psychological, and/or social. Frailty is a common condition among older people. Yet, it seems older people barely use this term.

The purpose of this study was to analyze predictors of ASz in a population of patients with ischemic stroke due to large arterial vessel occlusion (LVO).
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study examined patients with acute ischemic stroke caused by LVO between 2016 and 2020.
Background: Mechanical thrombectomy and systemic thrombolysis are important therapies for stroke patients. However, there is disagreement about the accompanying risk of acute symptomatic seizures.
Methods: A retrospective analysis of patients with an acute ischaemic stroke caused by large vessel occlusion was performed.
Objectives To prospectively evaluate lung ultrasound in comparison with radiography and computed tomography (CT) for detecting HIV-related lung diseases. Methods Ultrasound examinations in HIV-positive patients were evaluated by three raters; available conventional imaging was evaluated by another rater. Results were compared with each other and the definite diagnosis.
