Natural orifice surgery has been used with increasing frequency in colon surgeries since the early 2000's. Our aim was to examine the patients retrospectively who underwent Natural Orifice Specimen Excision (NOSE) following laparoscopic colorectal resection. Phosphohistone H3 (PHH3) is an immunohistochemical marker showing mitotic activity in cells. In this study, we aimed to evaluate mitosis in GIST with PHH3, compare the results with hematoxylin and eosin (HE) stained slides, and examine its relationship with other prognostic data.
