To translate and culturally adapt the Perinatal Bereavement Care Competence Scale (PBCCS) scale into Turkish (T- PBCCS) and determine its psychometric properties. This reliability and validity study was conducted with 150 midwives between April and September 2024. The 150 active midwives completed the information form and the T-PBCCS forms.

Objectives: This study aimed to explore how mothers of children with disabilities perceive mothering through metaphor.
Subjects And Methods: The study was conducted in March 2023 with 28 women who had experienced motherhood. The data were collected using the Descriptive Information Form and the Metaphorical Perceptions Form developed by the researchers who reviewed the literature.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate if there is any correlation between the quantitative computed tomography and the impulse oscillometry or spirometry results of post-COVID-19 patients.
Methods: The study comprised 47 post-COVID-19 patients who had spirometry, impulse oscillometry, and high-resolution computed tomography examinations at the same time. The study group consisted of 33 patients with quantitative computed tomography involvement, while the control group included 14 patients who did not have CT findings.
Rationale And Objectives: In this study, we aimed to describe a more accessible and safe diagnostic tool for osteoporosis or osteopenia diagnosis. We utilized cortical thickness (CoT) measurement of various bones via ultrasonography and evaluated the method's accuracy relative to bone mineral density (BMD) results determined by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA).
Materials And Methods: A total of 200 volunteers (all female) who agreed to participate in the study and had undergone BMD measurement (femoral or vertebral) were included in the study.
Objective: The association between the nutritional status and outcomes in pulmonary embolism is unclear. This study was aimed at examining the value of the Controlling Nutritional Status (CONUT) score in assessing malnutrition among acute pulmonary embolism patients.
Subject And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the records of adult patients with acute pulmonary embolism hospitalized through our ED.

Objective: The number patients surviving COVID-19 hospitalization is steadily increasing. Follow-up management for these patients relies on an understanding of the long-term effects of COVID-19. Specifically, there are insufficient data about the lasting effects of COVID-19 on bone health.

The patient was referred to our hospital for the evaluation of her response to chemotherapy. PET/CT detected circumferential increased FDG uptake in the outer part of the left renal cortex.

Methods: The data of pneumoconiosis patients, who were diagnosed with PMF between 2014-2019 in a tertiary hospital, were collected.
Background: The prevalence and significance of microalbuminuria have not been well studied in patients with different heart failure subtypes.
Objective: The prevalence and significance of microalbuminuria have not been well studied in patients with different heart failure subtypes. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the frequency and prognostic value of microalbuminuria in patients hospitalized for acute heart failure (AHF) with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), mid-range ejection fraction (HFmrEF), and reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF).
Objective: The shock index (SI), modified shock index (MSI), and age shock index (ASI) have been reported to predict adverse outcomes in patients with different acute cardiovascular conditions. This study aimed to investigate the association between these indexes and in-hospital mortality in patients with acute pulmonary embolism.
Methods: The medical records of all adult patients who were hospitalized with acute pulmonary embolism between June 2014 and June 2019, were examined.
Background: Indications and appropriateness of aspirin use have not been well investigated in Turkey.
Aims: To investigate the prescription patterns and appropriateness of aspirin in a real-world clinical setting.
Study Design: Cross-sectional study.
Aims: This study aimed to investigate the clinical and chest computed tomography (CT) features associated with clinical parameters for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the capital of Turkey, Ankara.
Materials And Methods: Epidemiological, clinical features, laboratory findings and radiological characteristics of 1563 hospitalised patients with COVID-19 in Ankara were collected, reviewed and analysed in this study. The risk factors associated with disease severity were investigated.
Objective: Recently, the ACUTE HF score has been developed as a new tool for predicting short and long term mortality in patients with acute heart failure (AHF). However, this. score has not yet been validated externally.
