Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation on quality of life during the survival period in individuals with small cell lung cancer.

Methods: Thirty-six patients with a diagnosis of small cell lung cancer (SCLC), who completed chemotherapy treatment and were in the survival period, were included in the study. A pulmonary rehabilitation program was applied to individuals at 40-70% of submaximal heart rate, 3 days a week for 8 weeks.

IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a fibroinflammatory condition that is characterized by storiform fibrosis, infiltration of IgG4-positive lymphocytes, obliterative phlebitis, and high IgG4 levels. Immunoglobulin (Ig) G4-related disease (IgG4RD) is a chronic autoimmune disorder characterized by dense lymphoplasmacytic infiltrations and fibrosis of storiform pattern. The most typical manifestations include major salivary or lacrimal gland involvement, autoimmune pancreatitis, and retroperitoneal fibrosis. While the increase in IgG4 is the typical feature of the disease, hypercalcemia has been rarely reported in IgG4RD so far, only one of these cases has been shown parathyroid gland involvement (isolated involvement).

In this paper, we describe the alleviated effects of alpha-tocopherol (α-T) on oxidative damage and its possible role as a signal transmitter in plants during salt stress. The results show that exogenously applied α-T under salt stress increased root length and weight, but reduced hydrogen peroxide (HO), superoxide anion radical (O-) and malondialdehyde (MDA) content in soybean roots. The proline content was reduced by α-T treatment.
