To evaluate patients' radiation exposure undergoing CT-guided joint injection in preparation of MR-arthrography. We developed a novel ultra-low-dose protocol utilizing tin-filtration, performed it in 60 patients and compared the radiation exposure (DLP) and success rate to conventional protocol (26 cases) and low-dose protocol (37 cases). Supporting families in their child's journey with neonatal encephalopathy and therapeutic hypothermia.

Neonates and families face challenges in hypothermic therapy, including trauma to parents, extreme emotions, and unfamiliarity with the medical system. Communication is an essential element to supporting parents while their children are in the NICU, and beyond, building the foundation for the ongoing relationship the family has with the medical system. Significant consideration needs to be given to the critical element of integrating the family into the care of a baby being treated with therapeutic hypothermia.

No study has compared 2 different dosing strategies for argatroban titration nor has any published nomogram demonstrated improvement in outcomes. This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of 2 argatroban nomograms on reaching therapeutic anticoagulation. Patients treated with argatroban were separated into 2 sliding scale groups, percentage adjustments (PAs) and predefined dose increments (PDIs).
