Mango, a valued commercial fruit in India is popular mostly because of its attractive flavour. Glycosidically bound volatiles (GBV), an underrepresented warehouse of aroma, remain completely unexplored in Indian mangoes. In this study, GBV were profiled in pulps and peels of 10 Indian mango cultivars, leading to detection of 66 GBV which were dominated by monoterpenoids and phenolics.

Insulin-derived amyloidosis (AIns) is a rare iatrogenic subtype of cutaneous amyloidosis occurring at frequent insulin injection sites. Here, we describe 2 cases of AIns accompanied by acanthosis nigricans (AN)-like changes, a rare finding which has been reported fewer than 5 times in the literature. We also report the first case of an AIns nodule being misdiagnosed as a keloid.

β-Glucosidases primarily catalyze removal of terminal glucosyl residues from a variety of glucoconjugates and also perform transglycosylation and reverse hydrolysis. These catalytic properties can be readily exploited for degradation of lignocellulosic biomass as well as for pharmaceutical, food and flavor industries. β-Glucosidases have been either isolated in the native form from the producer organism or recombinantly expressed and gaged for their biochemical properties and substrate specificities.

It is hypothesized that inherited pathogenic DNA repair gene (DRG) alterations may drive susceptibility to TGCTs.
Objective: To systematically evaluate the enrichment of germline pathogenic variants in the mendelian cancer predisposition DRGs in patients with TGCTs vs healthy controls.
Selegiline hydrochloride (SHCl), a monoamine oxidase B inhibitor, is used as an adjunct in the therapy of Parkinson's disease. This study is concerned with the preparation and evaluation of mucoadhesive buccal tablet for controlled systemic delivery of SHCl. Buccal absorption of selegiline can bypass its first-pass metabolism and improve bioavailability accompanied by greatly reduced metabolite formation, which is potentially of enhanced therapeutic value in patients with Parkinson's disease.
