Unlabelled: Infections of the respiratory tract are one of the main causes of family doctor visiting. A variety of etiological factors (mostly viruses, typical and non typical bacteria) causes that the diagnosis of these infections is rarely made in outpatient practice (usually these are nose and throat smears); additionally the carrier state of typical bacteria in the respiratory tract impedes the interpretation of microbiological results. THE AIM OF THE STUDY was to assess the incidence of potential bacterial etiological factors of respiratory tract infections in outpatients in the years 2000-2005.

The objective of the current study was to compare the results of surgical treatment in endometrial cancer with the use of laparoscopy and the traditional approach of laparotomy. Heart rate variability (HRV) is estimated using time and frequency method. This analysis allows a non-invasive assessment of both the heart and autonomic nervous system. The usefulness of HRV estimation has been confirmed in patients not only with diabetic neuropathy, tetraplegia, various heart diseases (after heart transplantation, with heart failure, after myocardial infarction, with hypertrophic and dilated cardiomyopathy, with cardiological syndrome X and with arrhythmia), but also with thyroid gland diseases and in physiological states of human being.
