Rosacea diagnosis and treatment in children are challenging, due to its rarity and to the lack of approved pharmacological agents for its treatment in this age group. In this case series, response to treatment with once daily applications of ivermectin (IVM) 1% cream for 12 weeks in 10 children affected by mild to severe inflammatory rosacea was evaluated clinically by Investigator Erythema Severity Assessment (IESA), Investigator Global Assessment of Severity (IGA-S), Investigator Global Assessment score of Global Efficacy (IGA-GE), and instrumentally by dermoscopy and Erythema-Directed Digital Photography (EDDP). Clinical improvement was achieved at the end of treatment compared to baseline (IESA: 2.

Its usefulness in the diagnosis and treatment monitoring of some neoplastic, inflammatory, and infectious skin conditions has been demonstrated. The aim of this study was to evaluate the LC-OCT features of psoriasis in a large number of psoriatic plaques along with their histopathologic correlation.

Moreover, nail psoriasis is a true therapeutic challenge for clinicians. The presence of nail psoriasis can be part of a severe form of psoriasis and can have predictive value for the development of psoriatic arthritis.

Patient was treated with Tirbanibulin 1% ointment once a day for 5 consecutive days and, after 8 days from baseline, mild erythema and desquamation was observed on the treated area, associated with mild pruritus. At the same time-point, L'LC-OCT revealed the presence of intraepidermal "targeted-like" cells, corresponding to apoptotic keratinocytes.

Methods: A computerized search of ClinicalTrial.gov database was carried out considering the 20-year period 2003-2022 using the following string: "Skin Diseases OR Skin cancer OR Skin Neoplasms OR Skin Infection OR Skin Lesion OR Skin Ulcer OR Skin Laxity OR Skin toxicity OR Dermatologic Complication OR Skin abnormalities".
Objective: The prevalence of anxiety and depression in patients diagnosed with Alopecia Areata (AA) is very high and this significant burden of psychological symptoms threatens the Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) of affected patients. Indeed, AA often does not produce significant physical symptoms, but it nonetheless disrupts many areas of mental health. Clinical assessment of disease severity may not reliably predict patient's HRQoL, nor may it predict the patient's perception of illness.

Despite its prevalence and impact on quality of life, the pathogenesis of HS remains incompletely understood. Notably, its diagnosis often suffers from delays and misidentification, therefore an improved education for healthcare providers is mandatory.

Such diseases require careful monitoring to effectively manage their progression. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers valuable tools for this purpose through its ability to analyse data and identify predictive patterns.

Traditional cardiac rehabilitation is a valuable approach to the physical and quality-of-life recovery of patients with cardiovascular disease. The innovative approach of remote monitoring through telemedicine offers a solution based on modern technologies, enabling continuous collection of health data outside the hospital environment.

Due to the unpredictable course of AA and the different degrees of severity of hair loss, only a few well-designed clinical studies with a low number of patients are available. Also, there is no specific cure, but topical and systemic anti-inflammatory and immune system suppressant drugs are used for treatment.
