Ticks, rickettsial and erlichial infection in small mammals from Atlantic forest remnants in northeastern Brazil.

We evaluated infection by spp. and spp in small mammals and their ticks from two Atlantic forest conservation areas in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, northeastern Brazil. A total of 39 small mammals were captured during 2012-2013, encompassing 33 marsupials (29 , four ), three Cricetidae rodents (two , one ), one Caviomorpha rodent () and two armadillos ().
