Diagnostic imaging features of the most commonly performed types of bariatric surgery, which are gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, are reviewed as well as imaging diagnosis of their complications. Although upper gastrointestinal series remains the first-line imaging test for assessing postoperative anatomy and complications, the important role of multidetector computed tomography in diagnosis of serious complications is highlighted.

Materials And Methods: The departmental QA database was searched from October 2005 to April 2010 for cases of acute cholecystitis. Errors were classified into overcalls and undercalls.
The goal of this study was to evaluate different CT scanning protocols on the depiction of the urinary tract by multidetector CT. The authors retrospectively reviewed 55 consecutive patients who underwent CT scanograms. Two groups of patients were included: renal donors (n=29) and hematuria patients (n=26).
