[Termination of the presynaptic effect of carbacholine by tubocurarine].

The presynaptic action of carbacholine (Cch) was studied in experiments on the frog sartorius muscle neuromuscular preparation. Cch proved to decrease the quantum content of the end plate potential (EPP); this effect was induced by a direct Cch action on the motor nerve endings. d-tubocurarine decreased the sensitivity of the nerve endings to Cch significantly.
