Streptococcus gallolyticus (SG) - among other bacterial infections - is associated with colorectal malignancy and adenoma. It is reported that patients with SG bacteraemia have a concomitant colorectal tumour in 25-80% of cases. We present a case of a patient with complications of this septicaemia associated with a rectal adenocarcinoma, as an example of this important radiological and clinical correlation.

Methods: Abdominal MRI studies, performed for the clinical suspicion of IH of pregnant patients with a history of RYGB, were analyzed by two abdominal radiologists. Thirty-one cases were included and for each case both readers independently evaluated the T2 HASTE sequence in different planes (axial, coronal and sagittal) to determine the presence or absence of IH.
Background: Abdominal computed tomography (CT) is the standard imaging method for patients with suspected colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) in the diagnostic workup for surgery or thermal ablation. Diffusion-weighted and gadoxetic-acid-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the liver is increasingly used to improve the detection rate and characterization of liver lesions. MRI is superior in detection and characterization of CRLM as compared to CT.

As it is not possible to target deficiency with pharmacological agents, we explored the possibility of activating another p53 family member, p73, which has not been well studied in myeloma. (2) Methods: Using human myeloma cell lines (HMCLs) with normal or abnormal status, we assessed methylation and expression.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to assess the safety, effectiveness and long-term outcome of endovascular management of arterial haemorrhage after radical prostatectomy (RP).
Materials And Methods: Ten patients who received endovascular treatment for refractory bleeding after RP between January 2008 and December 2016 were retrospectively identified. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) was performed and followed by catheter-directed treatment by means of transarterial embolization (TAE) or stent graft placement.
Hepatocellular adenomas are rare benign liver neoplasms that commonly occur in women with a history of oral contraceptives intake for more than 2 years. Hepatic adenomatosis is characterized by the presence of multiple adenomas, arbitrarily > than 10, involving both lobes of the liver, without any history of steroid therapy or glycogen storage disease. Although the adenomas in liver adenomatosis are histologically similar to other adenomas, liver adenomatosis appears to be a separate clinical entity.

Materials And Methods: Over a 7-year period, 78 consecutive patients presented with superior vena cava syndrome related to primary lung tumor (n=62) or malignant lymphadenopathies (n=16).
It has become rare to find the typical radiological manifestations of primary hyperparathyroidism like generalized osteoporosis, brown tumors and advanced bone resorption because of the generalized usage of biochemical screening techniques. We present a 17-year-old patient with a parathyroid adenoma resulting in these typical skeletal manifestation throughout the skeleton combined with secondary bilateral slipped capital femur epiphysiolysis.
