Inclusive schools reflect the dominant approach to education, yet many youths with mental disorders still attend special education schools. Although special education schools address educational, social, and developmental needs, they may increase students' self-stigma and hinder positive identity formation. Israel's Ministry of Education and an academic community mental health department partnered to address this challenge by developing a manual-based intervention for special education school settings.

Aim: This study examined satisfaction with accessibility, staff attitudes, personal outcomes service components of youth-oriented mental health service, Headspace, and those components' associations with psychological distress and functional status at intake, service utilization patterns and demographic characteristics at middle and end of treatment.

Methods: Data were collected between March 2016 and June 2018 from 112 participants (12-25 years) who consented and completed at least seven sessions at the Headspace youth integrated-care centre in Israel using the centre's registries and the Youth Service Satisfaction Scale.

Aim: To describe clinical and demographic characteristics of youths who seek help at the first Headspace centre in Israel and their families.

Methods: A sample of 291 (65%) of the youths (12- to 25-year-olds) who applied to Headspace between March 2016 and June 2018 completed an assessment, including reasons for referral and clinical status; the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale, evaluating psychological distress; and the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire, measuring emotional and behavioural difficulties. Their families reported burden of care via the Burden Assessment Scale.

Objective: NAVIGATE is a comprehensive treatment program for first episode psychosis developed and implemented in the US that has been found to be effective. The purpose of the present study was to describe the first initiative of NAVIGATE's implementation outside the US, and to present data collected in Israel from the first two clinics focusing on NAVIGATE clients' characteristics, components utilization and retrospective clinician ratings of change.

Methods: Administrative data for 61 NAVIGATE clients in Israel and retrospective ratings of NAVIGATE clinicians were analysed.

Objective: Vocational rehabilitation for people with severe mental illness (SMI) has many benefits. Among the existing models, supported employment has consistently shown to have better impact on vocational outcomes while the findings on non-vocational outcomes are inconsistent. One source of variation with regard to non-vocational outcomes could be related to differences between consumers' self-reports and the providers' point of view.
