Background: Achilles tendinopathy is a prevalent musculoskeletal condition, affecting approximately 6% of the population at some point in their lives. Insertional Achilles tendinopathy (IAT) is often associated with Haglund deformity (HD), and several surgical interventions exist to address this pathology.
