The effect of calcium dobesilate (calcium dihydroxy-2,5 benzenesulphonate) on thrombus formation in vivo was evaluated. Experimental thrombi were induced in a venule of a hamster cheek pouch following iontophoresis of adenosine diphosphate (ADP).
