Morphologic, dynamic and high-resolution microscopy MRI in early-onset spondyloarthritis finger dactylitis.

Objective: Up to now, the pathophysiology of SpA dactylitis has not been entirely clarified. It is not clear which are the involved tissues and which is the primary lesion of the "sausage-like" digit. The aim of our study was to examine the finger structures in early-onset finger dactylitis using high-resolution microscopy MRI together with morphologic and dynamic MRI.

The impact of COVID-19 on radiological findings in patients accessing the emergency department: a multicentric study.

Purpose: The aim of this multicentric study is to illustrate how the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown affected the workload and outcomes of radiological examinations in emergency radiology.

Material And Methods: The exams performed in the radiology departments of 4 Italian hospitals during 3 weeks of the Italian lockdown were retrospectively reviewed and compared to the exams conducted during the same period in 2019. Only exams from the emergency department (ED) were included.

Macklin effect on baseline chest CT scan accurately predicts barotrauma in COVID-19 patients.

Purpose: To validate the role of Macklin effect on chest CT imaging in predicting subsequent occurrence of pneumomediastinum/pneumothorax (PMD/PNX) in COVID-19 patients.

Introduction: Fever of unknown origin (FUO) is one of the most difficult diagnostic dilemmas in current medicine. The main causes of FUO in developed countries are non-infectious inflammatory diseases, while infections are predominant in developing countries. Aim: Aim of this retrospective study is to evaluate the response to therapy in Crohn's disease (CD) patients studied by MR Enterography (MRE) in comparison with Harvey Bradshaw Index (HBI).

Methods: One hundred and sixty patients with histological proved CD have undergone MRE in the last years. Forty-six patients who repeated MRE after medical therapy within six months were selected for the study.

Muscle Recurrence of a Primarily Nodal Follicular Lymphoma Studied by Contrast-Enhanced 18F-FDG PET/CT.

We report the case of a 52-year-old woman with follicular lymphoma localized in the left inguinal region without any extranodal involvement and achieving a complete response after radiotherapy. After a 3-year disease-free interval, muscular recurrence at the left arm was shown by contrast-enhanced F-FDG PET/CT. Contrast-enhanced F-FDG PET/CT performed after immunochemotherapy documented complete disease remission.
