Symptoms arise when narrowing of the spinal canal, lateral recesses, or intervertebral foramina impinge upon the neural structures that traverse the spinal column. Pathology involving the structures that make up the spine can narrow the relevant spaces. Here a description of percutaneous procedures that address narrowing from disc disease, ligamentum Flavum hypertrophy, and devices that open and stabilize the spine at individual levels are presented.

Endovascular stenting of the pulmonary artery treats arterial stenosis from pulmonary hypertension, congenital heart defects, or post-transplant stricture. Patients with malignant extrinsic pulmonary arterial compression, secondary to large mediastinal or pulmonary masses, often present with dyspnea, hypoxemia, and right ventricular failure. Conventional therapies like surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation are often slow and fail to promptly resolve acute symptoms.

A 51-year-old male presented to our tertiary referral hospital with progressive shortness of breath and orthopnea. A computed tomography (CT) of the chest was performed that showed a large cystic middle mediastinal mass. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the chest demonstrated a large, well-circumscribed, T2-hyperintense cystic middle mediastinal mass resulting in significant compression of the trachea, brachiocephalic artery, superior vena cava, and azygos vein.

Atlantoaxial rotatory fixation (AARF) in adults is a rare and clinically challenging condition characterized by a spectrum of etiological factors, predominantly attributed to traumatic and inflammatory pathologies within the craniovertebral region. Trauma is the most frequently identified cause within the adult population, with the first case report published in 1907. This study aims to conduct a systematic review that addresses the clinical presentations and management strategies relating to traumatic atlantoaxial rotatory fixation in adults.

Colorectal cancer, a leading cause of cancer-related deaths, often results in liver metastases, with about half of patients affected. For those ineligibles for surgery, percutaneous microwave ablation (MWA) offers a viable alternative. Conventionally, visualizing liver lesions prior to MWA demands significant IV contrast, often needing repeated sessions.

Background: Traumatic intracranial aneurysms (TICAs) constitute a notable portion of pediatric intracranial aneurysms. Their unstable structure dictates a high incidence of rupture or mass effect from enlarging unruptured aneurysms, necessitating prompt diagnosis and treatment. TICAs often lack a true neck or are wide-necked, making them unsuitable for coil embolization and surgical clipping, and their fragile nature poses a risk of rupture during surgical and intrasaccular interventions.

Purpose: Venous steno-occlusive disease at the thoracic outlet affects up to 30% of the hemodialysis population [1] causing arm swelling and hemodialysis access dysfunction. Balloon angioplasty in this region can be of limited utility given the rigid compressive effect of surrounding musculoskeletal (MSK) structures. Outcomes of using the Viatorr endoprosthesis (Gore Viatorr TIPS Endoprosthesis, Gore, Flagstaff AR, USA, Viatorr ®) within this region to salvage the HD access in patients who presented with dialysis access dysfunction is presented.

Pulmonary nodules are often discovered incidentally during CT scans performed for other reasons. While the vast majority of nodules are benign, a small percentage may represent early-stage lung cancer with the potential for curative treatments. With the growing use of CT for both clinical purposes and lung cancer screening, the number of pulmonary nodules detected is expected to increase substantially.

There are very few cases of primary renal Ewing sarcomas, which are characterized by a high rate of metastasis. These tumors are often mistaken for other more common kidney tumors due to their rarity and lack of pathognomonic symptoms in the early stages. A 28-year-old male patient presented to our clinic with a 2-month history of nonproductive progressive cough and left flank pain.

The presence of osteal stenosis/occlusion or osteal exclusion by prior interventions poses a challenge to selective catheterization of the internal iliac artery. We describe a case where a retrograde access through the superior gluteal artery (SGA) was used to successfully treat an internal iliac artery pseudoaneurysm (PSA) in a patient when an antegrade catheterization was not feasible due to internal iliac osteal exclusion by an endograft.

Here we present a rare case of hyperinsulinemic-hypoglycemia due to congenital intrahepatic and extrahepatic portosystemic shunts. Performing percutaneous closure of such shunts has been reported to improve symptomatic hypoglycemia in this setting. This case is unique given the type of shunt (both with intrahepatic and extrahepatic components) and the clinical improvement following placement of a single vascular plug to occlude both intrahepatic and extrahepatic connections.
