Cuffless blood pressure measurement technologies have attracted significant attention for their potential to transform cardiovascular monitoring. This updated narrative review thoroughly examines the challenges, opportunities, and limitations associated with the implementation of cuffless blood pressure monitoring systems. Diverse technologies, including photoplethysmography, tonometry, and ECG analysis, enable cuffless blood pressure measurement and are integrated into devices like smartphones and smartwatches.

Surgical management of sacral schwannomas: a 21-year mayo clinic experience and comparative literature analysis.

Introduction: Sacral and presacral schwannomas are rare, accounting for a minority of spinal schwannomas. We present our institution's experience surgically treating spinal schwannomas and compare it to the literature.

Methods: Data were collected for 27 patients treated surgically for sacral or presacral schwannoma between 1997 and 2018 at all Mayo Clinic locations and 93 patients in the literature.

Background: CMV infection prevalence in kidney transplant recipients (KTR) is reported to be high in the literature, reaching rates of over 80%.

Objectives: The primary endpoints were the evaluation of the prevalence, the risks factors, and the effects of CMV infection on graft function and survival, as well as patient survival at three years after kidney transplantation.

Material And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 288 kidney transplant patients operated in three Lebanese transplant centers between 1998 and 2017 with three years of follow-up.
