Systemic amyloidosis is a rare protein misfolding and deposition condition that causes slow organ failure. Each of the more than 15 exclusive sorts of systemic amyloidosis, which encourage amyloid production and tissue deposition, is introduced by a unique precursor protein. Amyloidosis can affect various organs, including the heart, kidneys, liver, nerves, gastrointestinal tract, lungs, muscles, skin, and soft tissues.

Identifying the primary gene responsible for promoting improved cell survival and development has provided compelling evidence for preventing cellular death in the progression of malignancies. Numerous research studies have provided evidence that the abundance of Bcl-2 is higher in malignant cells, suggesting that suppressing Bcl-2 expression could be a viable therapeutic approach for cancer treatment.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAdiantum capillus veneris is a medicinally essential plant used for the treatment of diverse infectious diseases. The study of phytochemical and antimicrobial activities of the plant extracts against multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria and medically important fungi is of immense significance. Extracts from the leaves, stems, and roots of Adiantum capillus veneris were extracted with water, methanol, ethanol, ethyl acetate, and hexane and screened for their antimicrobial activity against ten MDR bacterial strains and five fungal strains isolated from clinical and water samples.
