Neuron-Specific Enolase as a Biological Marker for Welders' Pneumoconiosis.

Objective: The aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between serum neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and welders' pneumoconiosis, through chest x-ray and serum NSE.

Methods: The exposed group included 37 welders. The nonexposed group included 38 administrative workers.

Pulmonary Functions and Oxidative Stress Biomarkers Among Silica-Exposed Foundry Workers.

Objective: To investigate the changes of the ventilatory function tests and the oxidative stress biomarkers among silica-exposed foundry workers.

Methods: The exposed group included 70 workers in an iron foundry. The nonexposed group included 40 subjects from Kasralainy outpatient clinic.
