Introduction: diarrhea is the passage of three or more loose or liquid stools per day or more frequent than normal for the individual. Nearly half of deaths from diarrhea among young children occur in Africa where diarrhea is the largest reason for death among children under 5 years old. Home-based management of diarrhea plays its role in the treatment of a child with diarrhea.

Results: Among the total participants, 29.0% mothers performed at least one unhealthy practice during pregnancy, childbirth, postnatal period and newborn care.

While the benefits of transversus abdominis plane (TAP) and ilioinguinal-iliohypogastric (II-IH) nerve blocks on pain after caesarean delivery via Pfannenstiel incision have been demonstrated, no enough investigations on the comparison of these blocks on pain after caesarean delivery have been conducted in our setup.
Method: An institutional-based prospective observational cohort study was conducted to compare the analgesic efficacy of those blocks.
