[Private practice groups and medical care centers in Germany: a factual analysis of the current situation].

Medical care centers (MCCs) are an important part of the German health care system and offer a wide range of outpatient medical services. In recent years, the discussion about medical care centers has increased significantly and is largely emotional and interest-driven. The aim of this article is to provide a factual analysis of the current situation of MCCs in Germany and the role of private equity practice groups.
