This case report describes the development of information and communication technology (ICT) for a large scale, federally funded demonstration healthcare Program designed to treat low-income children and adolescents with chronic medical conditions. The ICT developers faced the challenge of supporting a Program with many components to treat pediatric patients with one or more chronic health conditions. The Program's ICT provided means and materials to train and monitor Community Health Workers (CHWs) and the Care Coordination Team (CCT) and to provide disease-specific information to patients and caregivers.

This review followed the five-step York methodology by Arksey and O'Malley and incorporated recommendations from the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis checklist for the extraction, analysis, and presentation of results.

The Great Mimicker: A Unique Case of Diffuse Subarachnoid Haemorrhage Simulating Acute Myocardial Infarction.

Unlabelled: Subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH) is a rare yet consequential medical emergency that may mimic an acute myocardial infarction (MI). Introduction: Overgrowth syndromes are a heterogeneous group of genetic disorders characterized by excessive growth, often accompanied by additional clinical features, such as facial dysmorphism, hormonal imbalances, cognitive impairment, and increased risk for neoplasia. Moreno-Nishimura-Schmidt (M-N-S) overgrowth syndrome is a very rare overgrowth syndrome characterized by severe pre- and postnatal overgrowth, dysmorphic facial features, kyphoscoliosis, large hands and feet, inguinal hernia, and distinctive skeletal features. The clinical and radiological features of the disorder have been well delineated, yet its molecular pathogenesis remains unclear.

Impaired Endosome Maturation Mediates Tubular Proteinuria in Dent Disease Cell Culture and Mouse Models.

Significance Statement: Loss of function of the 2Cl - /H + antiporter ClC-5 in Dent disease causes an unknown impairment in endocytic traffic, leading to tubular proteinuria. The authors integrated data from biochemical and quantitative imaging studies in proximal tubule cells into a mathematical model to determine that loss of ClC-5 impairs endosome acidification and delays early endosome maturation in proximal tubule cells, resulting in reduced megalin recycling, surface expression, and half-life. Studies in a Dent mouse model also revealed subsegment-specific differences in the effects of ClC-5 knockout on proximal tubule subsegments.

Influence of Actual Curing Conditions on Mechanical Properties of Concrete in Bridge Superstructures.

This article presents the research on the mechanical characteristics of concrete in the construction of three concrete bridges. A system of recording the internal temperature of concrete and automatic control of laboratory ovens was used for specimen curing. This allowed the specimens to be cured under conditions similar to those occurring in the structure.

In the present investigation, derivatives from (2-6) containing pyrimidine-2-thione moiety incorporated with different heterocycles such as pyrazoline, phenyl pyrazoline, and pyrimidine were synthesized using different methods. These pyrimidine-2-thione derivatives were evaluated in-silico for their capability to inhibit the H-RAS-GTP active form protein with insight to their pharmacokinetics properties. According to our findings, compound 5a was selected for in vitro studies as it has the in-silico top-ranked binding energy.
