In this paper, a universal technology is proposed for processing low-titanium mineral raw material-apatite-nepheline ore waste, including its treatment with sulfuric or hydrochloric acid in a two-stage mode with a sequential increase in the concentration. This technique allowed us to remove nepheline and apatite in the first stage and achieve a titanium mineral content of TiO of more than 30%; in the second stage, we were able to convert the titanium into its precursors-titanyl sulfate monohydrate TiOSO·HO and a hybrid rutile-silica composition. The key stage in the sorbent synthesis is the reaction of the precursor with a phosphoric acid solution.

An original method based on the use of technogenic waste from the processing of mineral-layered materials, in particular phlogopite for obtaining highly efficient functional compositions of the "mica-TiO", has been developed. The composition core is a nanosized mica flake coated with mesoporous titanium dioxide of an anatase or rutile structure. Energy-saving and environmentally friendly technological methods are based on the splitting of the mica followed by heterogeneous electrohydrolysis of a mixture of titanium (IV) sulfate solution and flake particles.

Reducing mortality of working-age population is a potential reserve for preserving Russia's population and its labor force. In addition, the task of analyzing health of economically active citizens of our country is inextricably linked with the challenge of developing strategy of development of reproductive potential at the regional level. As reproductive or generative woman's age is defined precisely enough, and such unambiguous definition for men is lacking, the study used mortality rates, calculated for men and women of working age (16 - 59 years and 16 - 54 years respectively) and officially published by the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) as characteristics of reproductive health.

BACKGROUND Obesity is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality globally and challenging to treat because of the multifactorial etiology and presentation. Individualized homeopathy takes into account factors that led to a patient's health condition and hence may have a role in the treatment of obesity and related co-morbidities; co-morbidities that may arising from the same etiology may respond as a whole to homeopathy treatment. CASE REPORT A 39-year-old Russian female who developed multiple problems after severe emotional stress was treated with individualized classical homeopathic therapy.

Turbulent fluctuations of the energy density of broadband pulsed Laguerre-Gaussian beams are studied based on numerical solution of the parabolic wave equation for the complex spectral amplitude of the wave field by the split-step method. It is shown that in the regime of strong scintillations, the relative variance of energy density of the pulsed beams can take values smaller than unity, in contrast to the strong scintillation index of the continuous-wave beams, which tends to unity with increasing the turbulence strength. The level of residual spatial correlation of the energy density of pulsed beams exceeds that for the continuous-wave beams.

Human myeloid cells with Ph chromosome (Ph+ cells) from chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in the course of proliferation and differentiation ex vivo are regulated under alternation of cell proliferation and neutrophil maturation stages by consecutive blocking and inducing apoptosis with of neutrophils participation as well bcr/abl, bax and bcl2 genes expression. Apoptosis regulation of three main Ph+ cells types from CML patients depends on alternation sequences of proliferation (1) and maturation (2) cell stages and realized by two ways. The first one is performed by consecutive blocking and inducing apoptosis under 2/1/2 stage alternation.

The genesp53, mdm2, p21, c-myc,bcr/abl, bcr, bcl2, bax, and gapdh participate in the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation, apoptosis and cell distribution for the cell cycle ex vivo in the Ph(+)cells of chronic myeloid leukemia containing the Ph chromosome andbcr/abloncogene. Expression of these genes correlates with regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation by alternating proliferation and maturation stages for three main Ph+cell types that occur under chronic myeloid leukemia. Thep53, p21, mdm2, and gapdh genes overexpress in active proliferating myeloid cells in the cell cycle S+ G2/M phases and when the phases are coincident with the proliferation stage.

Cell regulation of Ph(+)cell proliferation and differentiation has been studied ex vivo in various chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients. The regulation is provided by alternation of effective stages of proliferation and maturation with inhibition of Ph(+) cell proliferation by accumulating neutrophils under apoptosis blockage. The alternation of stages consists of switching stage 1 (effective proliferation) to stage 2 (effective maturation) and proceeds according to the 1/2 -1/2/1 or 2/1-2/1/2/1 schemes.
