The clinical applications of peripheral nerve imaging in the upper extremity.

Use of different imaging modalities in the diagnosis of peripheral nerve pathology has been growing steadily. This review attempts to summarize their use, particularly with regard to ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging, and their practical applications in the clinical setting.

Mastopexy after massive weight loss: dermal suspension and selective auto-augmentation.

The technique that we outline is extremely versatile for restoring an aesthetic and youthful breast shape in the patient who has lost a massive amount of weight. Overall, complication rates have been low. Despite the disadvantages of a lengthy scar and the need for extensive intraoperative tailoring (which may increase operative time), this operation carries an extremely high rate of patient satisfaction.

Isolated jejunal perforation after blunt thoracoabdominal trauma.

A case report of isolated jejunal perforation secondary to a relatively unique mechanism of blunt thoracoabdominal trauma is presented. A thorough and concise review of the multimodal approach that may be necessary to diagnose such a rare clinical problem is discussed.
