Background: Multiple Sclerosis treatment with B-cell targeted therapies may be associated with an increased incidence of headache. We aimed to find and compare the association of B-cell targeted therapies with the incidence of headache in patients with Multiple Sclerosis.

Methods: In a systematic based approach, the following databases were searched from inception until the 6th of June 2020: Pubmed/MEDLINE, ClinicalTrials.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the self-reported risk of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) in the municipality of Thessaly, Greece, and the level of awareness of both the disease and its diagnosis. Inhabitants of Thessaly (254 total; 84 men and 170 women) were studied by means of questionnaires via a telephone-randomized survey. This comprised: (a) the Berlin questionnaire for evaluation of OSAS risk; (b) the evaluation of daytime sleepiness by the Epworth Sleepiness Scale; and (c) demographic and anthropometric data.

Background: Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is a significant public health issue. In the general population, the prevalence varies from 10% to 50%. We aimed to phenotype comorbidities in OSAS patients referred to the primary health care (PHC) system.

: The risk assessment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and Excessive Daytime Sleepiness (EDS) in specific occupational populations is important due to its association with morbidity. The aim of the present study was to identify the risk of OSA development and EDS in a Greek nursing staff population. : In this cross-sectional study a total of 444 nurses, 56 males (age = 42.

Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is a devastating malignancy with poor prognosis. Reliable biomarkers for MPM diagnosis, monitoring, and prognosis are needed. The aim of this study was to identify genes associated with wound healing processes whose expression could serve as a prognostic factor in MPM patients.

Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is a highly aggressive tumor primarily associated with asbestos exposure. Early detection of MPM is restricted by the long latency period until clinical presentation, the ineffectiveness of imaging techniques in early stage detection and the lack of non-invasive biomarkers with high sensitivity and specificity. In this study we used transcriptome data mining in order to determine which (CLDN) genes are differentially expressed in MPM as compared to controls.

Background: Chloride Intracellular Channels (CLICs) are contributing to the regulation of multiple cellular functions. CLICs have been found over-expressed in several malignancies, and therefore they are currently considered as potential drug targets. The goal of our study was to assess the gene expression levels of the CLIC's 1-6 in malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) as compared to controls.

The aim of our study was to assess the differential gene expression of Parkinson protein 7 (PARK7) interactome in malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) using data mining techniques to identify novel candidate genes that may play a role in the pathogenicity of MPM. We constructed the PARK7 interactome using the ConsensusPathDB database. We then interrogated the Oncomine Cancer Microarray database using the Gordon Mesothelioma Study, for differential gene expression of the PARK7 interactome.

A growing body of evidence links obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) with hypertension. The authors performed a retrospective cohort study using the University Hospital of Larissa Sleep Apnea Database (1501 patients) to determine predictors of in-laboratory diagnosed OSA for development of hypertension. Differences in continuous variables were assessed via independent samples t test, whereas discrete variables were compared by Pearson's chi-square test.
