Introduction: Vasoconstrictive endothelin signaling is not limited to idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension, but has also been implicated in pulmonary hypertension due to valvular heart disease. The efficacy and safety of endothelin receptor antagonists in these patients is unknown.
