Objectives: This study was performed to evaluate the quantitative ultrasonic tissue characterization of the normal fetal lung development by using acoustic raw data captured after preprocessing.
Methods: One hundred and sixty-two patients with completed gestational ages between 22 and 37 weeks were enrolled in this study. Longitudinal and transverse sections of the fetal thorax and upper abdomen were imaged.
Background: Cases of giant hydronephroses are rare and usually contain no more than 1-2 litres of fluid in the collecting system. We report a remarkable case of giant hydronephrosis mimicking a progressive malignant abdominal tumour.
Case Presentation: A 78-year-old cachectic woman presented with an enormous abdominal tumour, which, according to the patient, had slowly increased in diameter.
