Clinical, morphological and molecular genetic features define the diagnosis criteria of polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia and primary myelofibrosis. Currently, V617F is associated with clonal hematopoiesis, genomic instability, dysregulations in hemostasis and immune response.
