Background: Idiopathic urethritis [IU] in children is of unknown etiology and treatment options are limited. We propose a classification for IU based on cystourethroscopy findings and symptoms (Grade 1 - 4) and report our experience with use of topical and oral steroids in IU.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective data collection of all male children (0-16 years) diagnosed with IU over a period of 8 years between 2005 and 2012 at our institution.
Purpose: Idiopathic urethritis (IU) in children is of unknown etiology and treatment options are limited. We aim to report our experience with steroid instillation in IU in children.
Methods: Retrospective data collection of all male children diagnosed with IU over a period of 8 years.
Pyonephrosis is uncommon in adult and paediatric population and very rare in neonates. Neonatal candidal and staphylococcal pyonephrosis has been reported earlier, and this is the first reported case of MRSA pyonephrosis. A case of potentially lethal fulminating primary MRSA pyonephrosis with septic shock in a neonate in whom investigations showed refluxing and obstructing left megaureter requiring successful surgical correction has been reported.

Purpose: Proximal migration of the ureteric double J stent is a rare but known complication. We describe three cases where a minimally invasive technique for retrieval of displaced double J stents using Amplatz(™) goose-neck snare was successful.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective review of patients with displaced double J stent was carried out, in whom cystoscopy guided retrieval of double J stent was attempted with the help of Amplatz goose-neck snare under radiological control.

Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to comprehensively assess the results of dismembered pyeloplasty in pelvi-ureteric junction obstruction (PUJO) using double 'J' ureteric stent.
Materials And Methods: Records of 61 dismembered pyeloplasties in 60 consecutive patients with PUJO who underwent pyeloplasty in a 5-year period were reviewed retrospectively. In 58 cases, a double 'J' stent was passed in an antegrade fashion during the operation.
