Here, we reported that fatty acid translocase CD36 was significantly overexpressed in both human LUAD tissues and NNK-induced A/J mice LUAD tumors. The overexpressed CD36 was positively correlated with Src kinase activation, smoking status, metastasis, and worse overall survival of patients with smoking history.

Nrf2 is commonly activated in papillary thyroid cancer, whereas its role in anaplastic thyroid cancer has not been fully explored. Introduction: Cisplatin is a chemotherapy drug that has been used to treat a number of cancers for decades, and is still one of the most commonly used anti-cancer agents. However, some patients do not respond to cisplatin while other patients who were originally sensitive to cisplatin eventually develop chemoresistance, leading to treatment failure or/and tumor recurrence.
