Agricultural activities such as row-cropping and grazing, have accelerated stream bank erosion. Accelerated stream bank erosion increases nonpoint source pollutants in aquatic ecosystems, significantly degrading them. Mitigating stream bank erosion is a priority worldwide, especially in agricultural watersheds.
