Background: Mesenchymal tumors such as perivascular epithelioid cell neoplasm (PEComa) and inflammatory pseudotumor-like follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (IPT-like FDC sarcoma) are relatively uncommon in the liver and are particularly rare in the caudate lobe.
