[Squamous-cell carcinoma and pilonidal sinus disease. Case report and review of literature].

Squamous-cell carcinoma arising in a pilonidal sinus is a rare occasion. Authors report the case of a 60 years old male, with a 15 years history of recurrent pilonidal sinus disease. The patient underwent incisional biopsy, staging with total body CT, and finally radical surgery.

Spontaneous rectus sheath hematoma is a rare condition. It encompasses a wide spectrum of severity (self-limiting to fatal) depending of its size, etiology, and the development of complications. It enters into the differential diagnosis of abdominal pain but it's frequently difficult to diagnose and often radiologic imaging is required.
