Background: High temperature requirement A1 (HTRA1), a member of the HTRA family, is a serine peptidase involved in many crucial bioprocesses such as proliferation, mitochondrial homeostasis, apoptosis, and protein quality control. It also plays an important role in the development of various tumors. However, the potential role and mechanisms of action of HTRA1 in breast cancer (BRCA) remain unclear.

A novel irinotecan derivative ZBH-1207 with different anti-tumor mechanism from CPT-11 against colon cancer cells.

Purpose: Irinotecan (CPT-11) is a camptothecin derivative whose potent anti-tumor activity depends on the rapid formation of an in vivo active metabolite, SN38 (7-ethyl-10-hydroxycamptothecin). CPT-11 combine with other agents are often the treatment of choice for patients with advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC). This study evaluates the cytotoxic mechanism of a novel CPT-11 derivative, ZBH-1207 in CRC cells in vitro.

[Advances in Long Non-coding RNAs on Resistant to EGFR-TKIs in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer].

Most non-small cell lung cancer patients with active epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation will eventually acquire drug resistant to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors, such as gefitinib, resulting in disease progression, which involves a variety of complex mechanisms. Up to now, the molecular mechanisms of long non-coding RNAs mediated EGFR-TKIs resistance remains poorly understood. This review aims to outline the current state of information on lncRNAs and progress on its role in EGFR-TKIs resistance in non-small cell lung cancer.

[Study of the pragmatic of saliva test cassette to detect the Helicobacter pylori in oral cavity].

Objective: To study the link of Helicobacter pylori salive test cassette (HPS) and 13C-urea breath test (13C-UBT) on detecting Helicobacter pylori infection of stomach, and the sensitivity as well as specificity should be determined.

Methods: A screening trial of 13C-UBT and HPS tests was carried out 130 patients included 106 positive and 24 negative results of 13C-UBT. As gold standards of 13C-UBT, a comparison study with HPS was evaluated using Bayes formula.
