Background: Automated dispensing systems (ADSs) for radiopharmaceuticals have been developed to reduce the radiation exposure of personnel, to improve the accuracy of the dispensed dose and to limit the microbiological contamination. However, before implementing such systems, validation according to various applicable guidelines is necessary to ensure safety and quality. Here we present the selection, validation and implementation of the PT459R2 from manufacturer Lynax s.

For in-house productions, quality control methods are essential for ensuring product quality, and thus patient safety. During HPLC method development for quality control of [Lu]Lu-PSMA-I&T, we noticed an unpredictable variability in peak area and height with replicate measurements.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the haematotoxicity course during PRRT and to compare baseline parameters between haematotoxicity grades.
Methods: In this retrospective study, 100 patients with a neuroendocrine tumour treated with PRRT were included.
Lutetium-177 [Lu] tetra-azacyclododecanetetra-acetic acid [DOTA]-(Tyr3)-octreotate [TATE] ([Lu]Lu-DOTA-TATE) is a radiopeptide used for peptide receptor radionuclide therapy in patients with neuroendocrine tumours (NETs). This radiopeptide is made by labelling the ligand octreotate with Lutetium-177 using the linker DOTA. After labelling, and before clinical application quality control of the radiopeptide is needed and the radiochemical purity is assessed.

Radioguided surgery after intravenous injection of [Tc]Tc-PSMA could improve the selectivity of lymph node dissection. The aim of this project was to develop an automated synthesis method for [Tc]Tc-PSMA, using the disposables and chemicals used at our institute for [Ga]Ga-PSMA labeling.

Although heterogeneous in presentation, a common denominator among these tumors is the overexpression of somatostatin receptors. Ga-DOTATATE is a somatostatin analog labeled with the positron emitter gallium-68 (Ga).
