Post-traumatic Stress Disorder: A Narrative Review of Pharmacological and Psychotherapeutic Interventions.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a complex mental health condition affecting individuals exposed to traumatic events. This paper is a narrative review of the existing literature on pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions for PTSD. Treatment includes selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), and alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonists.
